German Chocolate Cake Pie
German chocolate cake re-imagined as a pie. Gooey chocolate coconut pecan yumminess.
Filling ingredients: Chocolate, butter, sugar, eggs, flour, cornmeal, vanilla paste, salt, brown sugar, heavy cream, pecans, coconut.
Crust ingredients: Flour, sugar, salt, butter, water, red wine vinegar
Allergens: Pecans, eggs, cream.
Care: Refrigeration not required for the first 3 days.
Notes: German Chocolate Cake has nothing to do with Germany. It was a 1957 recipe from Mrs. George Clay of Dallas Texas using Baker’s German’s Chocolate. German’s refers to the developer of the chocolate: 19th century baker Samual German. Now you know.
